Throughout this webinar you will gain an understanding of why using visuals are important when supporting neurodiverse children in your setting. Visuals are important for all children and can support areas such as transitioning and communication. It will look at the different types of visuals and how they can be easily implemented into your setting. On completion of the course you will get a starter pack of visuals that you can use in your setting. This course will be very interactive and there will be loads of times for questions.

Ciara started work in mainstream preschools before going to study a B.A in Psychology. Leading on to work as a specialized teacher and then progressing to work as programme coordinator and staff trainer in a specialized preschool for autistic children. She is also the founder of Autism Supports, helping families and professionals implement supports for autistic children in their setting. She is also the mother of an autistic teenager which gives her the understanding of the difficulties which parents face at home.
Ciara is currently studying her Masters in Autism research and is an advocate for neurodiversity.
